Tanzania Trip 2008 - Mt. Kilimanjaro


A 6-days-5-nights climb of the Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895m), the highest mountain in Africa, must be one of the tuffest and the most dangerous actions throughout my bacpacking history.  Although climbing the Mountain in the beginning of the rainy season (March) made me witnessing one of the world most amazing scenes - Equator Glaciers (赤度雪), the snow covering trail made every ascending and dsecending a killing torture!  After all, we are talking about 5000m well above the sea level in the summit night and day!  Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro is a serious commitment, don’t go there if you are not well prepared, both physically and psychologically!
